Delta State Polytechnic Oghara-Otefe matriculates 10,000 Students for 2019 academic session (photos)

The Delta State Polytechnic Oghara-Otefe on Thursday 7th, March 2019 matriculated no fewer than 10,000 new students for the 2019 Academic Session.

The Rector of the Polytechnic, Prof. Emmanuel Apoyi, disclosed this during the matriculation ceremony at the Mass Com Complex of Delta State Polytechnic Oghara-Otefe.

All the highly esteemed lecturers of the polytechnic was also present. The Rector thereby urged the students to conduct themselves properly throughout their studies.

He said the exercise was part of the 17th matriculation ceremony which took place at the polytechnic.

Delta State Polytechnic Oghara-Otefe is one of the best polytechnic in the country and the state, as a result, desist from all the anomalies, like cultism, sexual harassment by lecturers that exist in other tertiary institution

“I want to meet you in the next Two years, during your graduation, full of knowledge and ready to take on the world as a result of your studentship in Delta State Polytechnic Oghara-Otefe.

He speak on how he has enhance some certain things for the favour of the stuffs and the students. He also made mention of how he gave laptops to all the principal officers of the Polytechnic.

Speaking on behalf of other matriculated students,  . Mr. Benson Omonode the Registrar of the polytechnic, made it known to all the students that, fake o'level result certificate are not allowed so anyone that has fake certificate will be withdrawn out or be asked to leave without been awarded a certificate from the polytechnic.

The ceremony was brought to a close, as the Dean of Student affairs  Mr. Samuel Enudi, made a closing prayer of thanking God for a successful matriculation Ceremony and also wishing safe journey to all the parents, guardians and well-wishers of the students back home.
