"I am down with you whether you are wrong or right, but I will tell you when you are wrong and help you get it right" is an indication of loyalty, a virtue found wanting amidst the members of the All Progressive Congress.

Recently, the APC as a family has been experiencing turmoil due to the lack of fidelity and one can only wonder what leg a divided kingdom will stand on.

According to Martin Luther, "where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved". The Director General of the Voice of Nigeria, Mr Osita Okechukwu as well as some other top members of the APC have out of their selfish interests, called for the resignation of the APC National Chairman, Comrade. Adams Oshiomole, an act I consider as being treacherous.

It is "unfair, denigrating and baleful of Oshiomole's persona and commitment to a rejuvenated winning machine that the APC typifies". Bearing in mind that these people are political appointees and elected officials of the APC, going on national T.V. proclaiming what they see as the urgent need for progress, which happens to be the resignation of the national leader is the highest form of treason. Some even went as far as seeking injunctions against their supposed family.

They openly profess their support for the APC during the day meanwhile, at night they ''Nicodemusly'' seek her downfall. What a family relation!!!
Just as the party's national legal adviser, Babatunde Ogala, has rightly said, ''the issues raised by Mr. Okechukwu are personal issues with the chairman''.

I believe the same scenario applies to other sycophants like Governor Rochas Okorocha (Imo State), Governor Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun State), Senator Magnus Abe (senator for Rivers State's South East constituency) and Governor Abdulaziz Yari (Zamfara State): some of which bade for positions but lost while the others have their selfish ambitions truncated thus, want to blame someone rather than embrace the spirit of sportsmanship. For Mr. Okorocha, his agitations centered on the contradiction to his expectation, his son-in-law's name, Uche Nwosu, was not submitted as the APC's governorship candidate. He (Rochas) was "asked to take one of either the senate ticket or governorship but he insisted on taking the two".

It would also be recalled that following the controversy generated by the May 2018 Ward, Local Government and State Congresses of the APC in Rivers State, Flag-Amachree and his Exco approached the Abuja High Court to seek injunction against the APC, its National Chairman, NWC/NEC from tampering with the Rivers State Exco of the party until all pending matters regarding the congress are resolved.

I cannot but agree with the APC's Publicity Secretary who was of the opinion that, if the same processes established by the APC's National Chairman had favoured Mr Okechukwu, would he not disregard any opposition(s) like his (Mr Okechukwu's)? Moreover, I think there are better and more matured ways of handling issues be it personal or not. The idea of you, being a formidable force in the APC, airing your dirty linens on a national T.V. is rather degrading and outrageously erroneous.

The party offers an internal dispute mechanism of which I believe you are not ignorant of. This mechanism is fairly strong as well as responsive, and it is there for every party member no matter high or low to access. It has been approached by many and a lot of similar issues have been resolved, and in my honest opinion, those who have accused Comrade. Adams Oshiomole of working against the party are the sycophants supposedly wanting to prove a point. They are the ones with skeletons in their cupboard.

I hereby beseech Mr President to expedite a call to order by instituting disciplinary measures in the party as, we do not have ample time between now and the 2019 General Election. With this, sanity would be restored and every party member will be guided by caution.

We should also be reminded that in the 2015 General Election, the APC did not produce the president with rebellion looming amidst her members, therefore "pointing accusing fingers would not help the party. If we want the party to win in 2019, we should not throw the party under the bus" just as Mr. Ogala correctly noted.

The likes of Mr. Osita Okechukwu and his deluded fellows should be carefully watched out for and properly handled as " loyalty is not grey, it is black or white" ; you are either loyal or not loyal at all. On behalf of the loyal members of the APC, I dare to say that we are in full support of the party's National Chairman and we admire his adeptness in the conduction of the APC Primaries.

There is the need for us to evolve the wings of loyalty to hover above the tragedy of setbacks. Disloyalty possesses one whistle and whenever it is blown, prospects take to their heels.
